Getting the job done right and on time matters to us, but not as much as ensuring that everyone goes home safe every day.
We've got a formal health and safety program, overseen from our Calgary head office, but implemented across all of our nationwide network of branches.
Our health and safety program exists to educate our employees about health and safety, equip them to work safely, and enforce legislation. These pillars of health and safety are at the forefront of everything we do.
Compliance
With so many branches in so many provinces, ensuring that we comply with local, provincial and federal legislation is imperative. That's why in addition to our Calgary based safety team, we also have health and safety committees and responsible people in every branch, and trained and certified crews on every site.
Tools and Training
All of our crews are trained fence professionals, but each crew also includes members with first aid training, all the tickets necessary for the type of site they are working on, and who have been fully briefed on risks and mitigation strategies. They also have all the health and safety equipment they need, from hard hats and boots to first aid kits and specialized PPE, and they know how to use them.
Because proper health and safety is never an accident, we plan carefully and implement consistently.
Documented and Audited
As a COR certified contractor, who is also a member in good standing of many other health and safety related organizations, we document and record everything, and audit regulary.
Health and safety records and information is available on request. Please contact us directly with any specific requests, and we will do our best to assist.
